About

1986 Rand Mcnally Road Atlas on the passenger seat, scenic back roads, turning down winding lanes advertising 'Fresh Eggs' on weathered hand-painted signs, chickens, sketching cattle watching me watching them, expansive prairies. That's where I find inspiration, drawing, wandering, looking and listening. Then returning to my studio and cranking up the music, I draw.

Charcoal, pencil, pastel, inks, color pencil, conte crayon. Expressive line, charcoal wash, bold color. That is me. That is my work.

When not out in the field sketching, I can be found in my studio near the Sebastian River on the central east coast of Florida.
